Mister Retro plugins, Moo cards and Gelaskins
Hey everybody! Happy Monday to you. I hope you had an exciting weekend and you’re ready to get back to the grind. Things should be relatively quiet around the old town of Norman this week as the University is in the midst of Spring Break. (Hmm . . . might be a good excuse to break out that old Hawaiian shirt for work.)
Some cool products to check out today.
• Mister Retro Machine Wash Filters for Photoshop are really neat plugins for adding that textured look to your artwork. They’re extremely customizable, are packaged with a really slick user interface, and and are just plain cool. Check ‘em out here.
• Moo is a printing company that creates unique customised stickers, business cards, MiniCards and note cards using your own artwork or you can choose from some of their images. You just upload your images or choose from MOO’s designs and you can even send artwork directly from your Flickr or Facebook account (along with several other sites). I’m especially loving the Moo cards. Here’s the link.
• Want to stand out from the rest of the digital crowd? Gelaskins are removable art skins for your laptop, iPod or iPhone. They help protect it from scratches and dings and look really cool as well. They have a whole bunch of different designs from a ton of artists and the price is right at around $30 for laptop covers and $12 or so for phones. Go here to check out the site.
Also, check back later today for last week’s conference wrap-up from Zac. See you tomorrow!
