Let It Be Known that Texas Sucks!
Now that the cat is out of the bag, Happy Thursday to everyone! Todd here today. It’s that time of year again’st Oklahoma vs. Texas. Where OU and Texas fans converge on Dallas to drink the booze and yell at each other trying to convince one another that their team is better. Well Texas sucks. Dustin (Duffy) ran across a screenshot of a commentary over the vice-presidential debate and saw that there were people in the back holding signs with some of our boy Rick’s lyrics. Someone had then typed the words “Rickrolled”? over the picture.
This has caused a craze in the Old Hat office of Rickrolling each other. I’ve been Rickrolled twice today. The point of the game is you pretty much just have to trick someone into looking at a picture of Rick Astley, unexpectedly play one of his hits, or as in the picture above show some of Rick’s wisdom in a public place. Anywho, just thought I would explain one of our games and pass it on to the rest of the general public.
On to a more serious note let me remind everyone that Texas sucks. Moving on, Cox Communications has had a series of commercials lately that I have loved. Usually I absolutely hate their ads with all of the burning passions of my heart because they were trying too hard to be funny and were failing miserably at it (to my standards which my may be scewed compared to others). Here are two of my favorites from the new campaign that they have going.
